🤯500 Subscribers on the WriteNow Youtube channel 🤯

It feels surreal because I never thought I would hit 100 subscribers 😂

I started the daily live streams to hold myself accountable for writing a book from start to finish. I am so grateful. I am so creatively fulfilled. I am so energized by each of you writers who attend the live streams and support our growing writing community.

As I look back on this past year of growth with the WriteNow community, I break it up into chapters:

📘Chapter 1 | Jan - March I got used to being on camera and on schedule every single day. I tried many different formats, from writing sprints to workshops. I found that writers got the most value from the story & critique show. I also started with random free writes and evolved to developing the first book that I plan to publish.

📗Chapter 2 | April - June I remember waking up one day and realizing that a few writers would show up for the writing sprints or live events every day. I realized that most writers who showed up either worked on their first book or series to eventually publish. I started trying out more stand-alone live events, and from this, the Create Write Now podcast was born

📕 Chapter 3 | July - September This chapter marked the end of Kauffman's Corner (my personal brand for the past decade) and the rebrand of the WriteNow community. I had developed over 10 separate livestream series. I realized that many different types of writers were showing up for daily motivation or to get help on various stages of the writing process. We had our first major holiday event (Write a Thon), and I finished the first draft of The Last Scarecrow: A Dawn of Magic Series (book 1).

📙 Chapter 4 | October - December I wanted to end the year on a big note by hosting not one, not two, but three major holiday writing events to give our writing community more options to write, learn from others, and enjoy the process. We're hosting the Freaky Friday Flash Fiction Contest, The Choose Your Own Adventure Event, and the next all-day Write A Thon!

I love getting to know so many different types of writers, understanding their wants, needs, and desires, and truly coming up with live streams or videos that will help them achieve their goals of publishing a book or optioning a script (so we can all go through the process together).
